Mamoru Hosoda new movie Scarlet will be receiving its UK premiere at the BFI London on January 22nd, Uk fans will get the chance to see Mamoru Hosoda Director of anime masterpiece such as Belle, Mirai, Wolf Children and Summer wars just to name a few new movie ahead of its general Uk february 6th thanks to Sony and Crunchyroll.

This is great to see to see Crunchyroll and BFI working toghter agian after putting on successful premiere events for both Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Infinity Castle both received very well by both fans and staff alike, after going to initve only event for jujutsu kaisen execution it looked like a lot of us UK anime fans may be locked out of these events that for some of us are key if we want to get content out in time to help promote these exciting releases, so its great to see these preview retrun to the BFI who I can see have a lot of passion for anime and exciting to see Scarlet treatment its deserves.

Plot

After failing to avenge her father’s murder, Princess Scarlet, wakes up in the “Land of the Dead.” In this world filled with madness, if she does not achieve her revenge against her nemesis and reach the “No End Place,” she will become “Void” and cease to exist. Can Scarlet find a way to live at the end of her endless journey?
