A other Anime inspired movie is set to hit UK cinema this year this time thanks to Central City Media, Another World is a Ghibli-esque animated film that follows the journey of a young girl named Yuri as she navigates the realm between death and reincarnation. A guiding spirit named Gudo becomes an unlikely friend to Yuri as the two battle with foreign emotions and dormant curses. As the highest grossing Hong Kong film of 2025, director Tommy Ng Kai Chung’s adaptation of the Japanese novel Sennenki is a magnetic exploration of grief, anger and redemption.
