It’s that time of year again it’s on like comic con Mcm comic con may is here at last taking place at the excel center London from May 22nd till 24th we here at anime in the UK going to take you around to find out what hot at comic con

Bandai Namco

Yet again have a huge main store and was the store everyone when to first to get there hands on the exclusive Gundam kits, with a wide selection available the line soon got absolute huge but it wasn’t just Gundam there was a wild section of other products for many other anime series such as one piece and dragon ball

It isn’t bandai without a wide selection of gashpon this year we had such gashpon as one piece, dandadan and even shuan the sheep just to name a few

There was also a selection of Ichiban Kuji available a area to build model kits for free and of course areas dedicated to the one piece and Gundam trading card game which are both huge at the moment.

At 1pm every gathered at the store as a big announcement was promised and we was not let down, as a permanent Gundam base was announce for London opening July rd that would not be the only big Gundam announcement of the day

Anime limited

Next door is Anime limited with a wide section of anime Blu-rays DVDs and of course vinyls

But the big pull from anime Limited will be tomorrow where Mcm comic will be hosting the world premiere of sparks of Tomorrow with both the director and producer Minoru Ota, Ryona Kuyama in attendance exciting to see anime limited bringing a huge guest to comic con again there was also a mini store selling sparks of Tomorrow merchandise as a huge Kyoto Animation fan it was really exciting to be at the world premiere of sparks of Tomorrow the first two episode was a masterpiece with some amazing background, exciting plots and some really fun characters, we will have a mini report from the premiere in the next few days on this website and youtube.

Also there was a autograph session with Minoru Ota I told him I been watching kyoto animation since air in 2005 was lovely to see the huge smile on his face when the translator told him

There was more big new was that anime litmted is putting the first two episodes of the new ghost in the sell anime into UK cinemas more base on the style of the original manga I am already excited to see this anime on the big screen

But this wasn’t the only cinema announcement this MCM comic con with the news that anime limited would also be putting Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway into UK cimeas autumn 2026

Crunchyroll what’s represented by a mini store free dedicated to the anime Haikyu!! With clothing range available and a photo opportunity

Crunchy will be running an event at the Outernet in London running at the same time as Mcm comic con that promises to be in immersive experience with anime such as Blue Lock, My Hero Academia, and Solo Leveling

Blind box empire

Another really cool store at Mcm Blind box empire also have a huge range of blind boxs including anime one you won’t find anywhere eles this year they had a really cool delicious in a dungeon set

artist Alley

Always a highlight of MCM comic con this is where the best fan artist come out to play the quality of art was top banana this year I was after anything Witch hat atelier after starting the anime this year all the artist was so friendly I also picked up some hololive bits

Brotherhood of game

The place I always like to go to pick up pokemon cards yet again they had a huge range of all cards including well love cards perfect for any binder collector like myself I ended

Comic con is not comic con without cosplay here some highlights

Over all I had a really lovely 3 days at mcm comic con also really enjoyed the Fanta xbox locked room felt like being in the episode of fort boyard or the Crystal Maze had some really nice themeing and some really cool prizes, do wish there was a few more stalls like this that had experiences.
